****Black Friday Finds****

Just a quick post to show off my Black Friday finds...

Unfortunately I was up at 2am getting ready to be to work for 3am on Black Friday.  Fortunately I was not one of the unlucky sales associates who had to directly deal with the mad house of bargain shoppers. As a visual coordinator I only had to make myself available for when a customer needed something off a mannequin.  There wasn't much of that during my 8 hour shift and I found myself able to take a quick morning break and check out some of the deals. With limited funds I decided to check out only H&M, my current favorite store.  On my way I saw that Express had a 40% off entire store sale but quickly retreated upon entering after noticing the line out the store.  Same with The Gap as their entire store was 50% off.  To my surprise H&M was not that packed and I was able to shop peacefully.  Although not the best Black Friday Sale from them, I was happy when I saw items at $5, $10, $15 and $20.  With only 30 minutes to shop I did my infamous speed shopping and before you knew it, and quick update with the boss, I was out the door putting only a $30 dent in my wallet.  Check out what I found.......

The most expensive items were the pink dress and gray silk tunic at $10 a piece.  I walked back into work feeling accomplished and on a fantastic shopping high without all the anxiety and frustration Black Friday is known for.  Yes, I know, most people use Black Friday to ferociously attack their Christmas list but I tend to use it as a day for me.  I couldn't possible be that organized to where I know what I will be buying friends and family this early.  I never could grasp shopping early and with so many of the people on my list shoppers themselves, it would be foolish to start this early.  I would end up giving them something they already have.  So, I tend to wait till the few weeks leading up to the big gift-giving day and then get what I need.  lol
