Despite its dirty and dangerous nature (well atleast for me...I'm totally accident prone), my job as a visual coordinator definitely has its perks. I have a regular schedule of 7am to 3:30pm and I don't have to work weekends. I don't have to check out customers. I play stylists for a ton of cooperative mannequins. And, most importantly, I get a bunch of goodies. About twice a month, one of our cosmetics brands goes into a gift with purchase event and me and my coworker are compensated with a free gift since we set the event up. Not only that but we get first dibs on discarded props...including visual samples like these tights.
I'm really not that big on patterned tights. I do love lace tights and my staple black tights, but colored and patterned tights are somewhat off limits. This isn't because I don't like them. In fact I love them but tend to get stuck on how to properly style them. So when a slew of sample tights came my way I was quite excited at the ability to try them out at my pace without forking over any cash. I've since become the proud owner of striped, plaid, checked and solid color tights and look forward to having some fun with them.
Anywho, my Saturday is set to be filled with a lot of DIY work. This current project is quite a challenge but I love it and look forward to showing off the finished work...whether it turns out as expected or a little less than perfect. Hope you all have a great Saturday!!

I feel the exact same way about tights. I went through a tiny phase when coloured tights were super popular 2 years ago, where I wore them all the time in a bunch of colours, but now I'm back to my black and greys. Can't get out of this groove, haha.
Your striped tights look awesome though and I really love your little black knit vest peeking out, as well as your shorts. Very cute :)
