Its the last day of vacation for me and I can feel the stormy gray cloud growing with the unwanted anticipation of returning to work. Kinda blows but I do have tons of amazing memories from my 6 day escape. I can't wait to upload and organize all the pics (I played tourist like never before switching between a few cameras and snapping away) and show you a couple of new pieces I brought home. I also feel my creative block has been lifted (YAY!!) I can't wait to dive into a few DIYs and make a few new pieces.
As for the outfit pic, I, like so many others, fell head over heels for pastels this summer and after seeing these pants I couldn't resist. I love the soft lilac shade mixed with the pale baby pink and shocking lemon but my only regret was not going down a size in the pants. Like everything we wear, the twill pants stretched out a bit and now they are not so tight. At the end of the day I ended up with way too much room for my comfort level in the crotch area and I kept getting the feeling that when I bent down a free panty show was going on. The last thing I want to be is the low-riding thong showing gal everyone snickers at so I may just have to grab another pair.
